Described as “A tool to facilitate compliance with the requirements of Section 508”, this website was developed for procurement officials, and those working on IT accessibility in the US Federal Government. The ‘wizard’ is a series of web-based forms with questions and selectable options. At the end of going through the process, procurement language is produced that can be copied into procurement activity documents. The wizard is intended for use by people who are already familiar with US federal procurement rules, and familiar with IT accessibility. The wizard should not be regarded as a starting point for those seeking to learn about US ‘Section 508’ Federal IT procurement rules.
